CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Every effort is made to provide you with unique items of the best quality. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations may be present. These do not interfere with their functionality and should not be considered as flaws, but as a statement of the authenticity of our items.

LEATHER CARE

We source high-quality local leather that comes from the top layer of the hide which displays natural grain characteristics and reveals unique traits and marks. As the natural grain remains, it allows the fibers to stay strong and durable.

You may use a leather conditioner for your handbags to keep the leather lubricated and prevent cracks. For regular cleaning, you can use a soft cloth or a microfiber cloth. Store your handbags in a dust bag and keep them away from direct sunlight.

TEXTILE CARE

The unique textile featured in our handbags is upcycled from traditional Mayan garments. Loose threads may appear in the pattern, this is normal and has no impact on the integrity of the handbag. If snags appear, do not pull them but instead, use a scissor to carefully cut away the loose strings.

CUSHIONS

The textile used in our cushions is newly woven using a traditional foot-pedal loom method. Spot cleaning is recommended. If needed, you may also hand-wash them in cold water and treat stains with a mild detergent, then air dry in the shade. You should remove the inner filling before cleaning.

PLACEMATS & NAPKINS

The textile used in our placemats and napkins is newly woven using a traditional foot-pedal loom. We recommend to wash them before first use, using cold water and a gentle cycle with a mild liquid detergent. Dry flat in the shade, tumble-drying is not recommended. Do not bleach.
